Baffin Island Summer 2010

In the Summer of 2010 I joined an education expedition, organised by Antony Jinman, that ventured into the same part of Baffin Island as our Polarventure 2008 expedition. The expedition took nine students and/or recent graduates to experience the Arctic: it’s environment, people and the troubles that it is faced with.

During the expedition I conducted a video project on climate change. The expedition gave the members an opportunity to express themselves free from western social norms and viewpoints and to be inspired by the nature. For the first part of the project I asked the members “Why should we be bothered if the climate changes?”

The second part of the project I asked the members “What needs to change in order for us to prevent climate change from occuring?”
